Educational Talent Search Program
The educational Talent Search Program was
established at USC in September 1991. Since its inception we have made
over 3,000 contacts each year to eligible
participants between the ages of 2 and 27.
The Educational Talent Search Program assist participants in developing their academic and motivational skills necessary to become better students, graduate from high school or obtain a GED, and enroll into a postsecondary educational institution. Other program services are: academic and personal advisement, workshops (College admission process, career exploration, college board preparation, study skills, and financial aid/Scholarship information), college visits, cultural and recreational activities, drop-out prevention services, tutoring, and parenting workshops. We assist youth to better understand their educational opportunities and options.
